[PHP_MySQL] Re:methodology



If you are looking at performance, I don't think that the two
approaches are much different if you only have 3 people, unless they
have squillions of photos and videos.....
If this is so, then use a database to store the details as this is
much more scaleable.
It is difficult to parse XML to extract details unless you read in
the entire XML message, which has a performance hit every time a user
does an enquiry.
Editing XML directly is not for the average user and if they get it
wrong, they will louse it up for everyone and you will have to get in
and sort it out......
